यूक्रेन से फंसे 250 लोगों का पहला जत्था राजधानी में सुरक्षित पहुंचा.

New Delhi, 27:  The evacuation flight AI-1942 from  Bucharest carrying 250 Indian nationals who were stranded in Ukraine landed at the Delhi airport in the early hours of Sunday. These include Twenty nine Students  from Maharashtra.All these students were received by the Union Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia and MoS for External Affairs, V.Muraleedharan.The evacuees belonging from different States heaved a sigh of relief and this could be witnessed seeing their faces. A total of 27 students are from Maharashtra and the office of Maharashtra Sadan has made all adequate arrangements for their safe stay, meals and sending them back to their destinations through flights. The government of Maharashtra has extended all the necessary help and would bear all their expenses till their respective destinations.The Ministry of External Affairs has asked every state to create a Help Desk, to facilitate students’ arrival at the airports. The Central government has launched ‘Operation Ganga’ to bring back citizens stranded in Ukraine via Romania, Hungary. The risky evacuation is taking place in the midst of a war, where in the Central Government is working in tandem with all the state governments, to bring back each and every Indian citizen.The second flight AI- 1940 will land from Bucharest will land in the National Capital at 8.00am. This flight is carrying 19 students from Maharashtra.
